" A Real Voice for the People"

     Please allow me one minute of your time to introduce myself. My name is Cindy Falco.  I would like to represent you and your interest in our community on Sebastian City Council.

 I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. A true Florida Native. I have owned and operated my own Floral and Interior design businesses in Miami, Florida since 1980. Presently, I own and operate The Victorian Lady Florist and Tea Room where we also host Weddings, Parties and Events.  My husband, Luciano and I moved to Sebastian in 2002. I am the mother of Ricky, (who is in the arms of the Angels) and  have a precious  grandson Falco, who is 10 years old. 

 I am not a Politician. I am an ordinary citizen just like yourself and after 6 years of living in this community and operating my own business within the city limits, I have found it necessary to step up to the plate and be a REAL VOICE" for the people of Sebastian. I have a deep compassion for life, and inborn desire to help others and I compassionately care about our residents and businesses. I want to be a "REAL VOICE" for you and represent your concerns for this community. I believe that can best be accomplished by running for a seat on The Sebastian City Council. Community Service

• Two years as a volunteer Counselor for Care Net Pregnancy Center
• Served on the Board of Directors for Sebastian's Women's Aglow, and Contributed  time and talents
• Served on the Construction Board for the City of Sebastian
• Currently Serves on the Parks and Recreation Board for the City of Sebastian
• Open Arms and Open Hearts home fellowship an outreach for the community
• Certification in Theology
• Certification in Biblical Counseling

 Platform:

• Increase Economic Development-Actively seeking Business and Tourism
• Tax Relief-Increasing tourism to build a larger tax base
• Teen Center-Creating a Safe meeting place for our teens and utilizing existing facilities
• Family Entertainment-Create a family enviornment by partnering up with the business community
• The Charrette- Approved by the residents, business community and City Council in 2001, The Main Street Project. A Rendition of a fishing village-charming shops, boutiques, coffee shop etc on main street with living quarters on top.  Tin Roofs to keep the ambiance of yesteryear for our Downtown Historical District and Water Front district.   

The World is changing  and so Must we.  Life as we once knew is over. We need to work together and create Unity in our Community. We must become aware that Sebastian isn't just for the Newly Weds and the Nearly dead as has been spoken of by others. We have the young, the middle aged and the elderly. WE must consider ALL! We CAN live together in this community and have unity!  If each one of us will allow ourselves to extend kindness one to another.
